Transmodal started from a fascination for synaesthesia. It was developed in parallel with my graduation thesis at ERG on digital art as a privileged medium for crossmodal experiences.
A part of the project was also a bit pedagogical ; I wanted to show what's "behind the scene", to provoke some curiosity about those Max/MSP patches, display them as visual objects.
The exhibited work consisted in 6 Max patches running on computers, along with a poster. In a separate, dark room, one of the patches was projected on a wall.
